Audi A6 is the first diesel engine that can be combined with the continuously variable automatic transmission multitronic with modified 2.5-litre V6 TDI (now 114 kW/155 bhp).
80 percent of the engine's peak torque of 310 Nm is available at just over 1000 rpm.
A6 can consequently cover distances in excess of 1200 kilometres without having to stop for fuel.
